I had a frozen pet Kipper called Seymour... -sniff-

Had, being the opperative word, he wasn't very obedient in puppy training.

I had a fish called Mavis once. He lived in a yogert container becuase my mother wouldn´t buy him a cage. He only lived for about fourty-eight hours, which made me very sad. Apparently none of the other fish that were sold from that place lived either, so my guilt has lifted a bit.

Guilt is such a self serving purpose, best kept for emergencies...

It´s taken a bit of time to get over watching as my mother flushed poor Mavis down the toilet, but I´ve done it and have been guilt free for about five years now. I´d get another fish, but my cat would eat it and then my mother would flush it down the toilet.

Flush your cat down the toilet...
hmmm, I think perhaps it is time to review your mothers role in your sanity.

I recommend frozen pets, they're low maintenace.

I had a frozen hamster once. My mum put it in the freezer after it broke it´s leg. Later, we burried it. She was far more humane to Fuzzy then she was to Mavis. I haven´t seen her in four months and am going to tomorrow. Oh dear.

Good luck, perhaps you should invest in a pet can of beans or ravioli...

She told me yesterday that I can get a few pretty little fish to be my friends if I clean the tank. Do you think I should take her up on it?

Don't do it... addopt a pigmi or a imp instead...

There would probabaly be more cleaning up to do after a pigmi or an imp, but I´ll think about it. Getting a fish would probabaly just cause pain and distress.
