No mistakes, so far . I'm just popping in, to say 'hello', 'welcome aboard', & all that. I too am from a northern climate, I'm from Canada. I'm really very impressed with this place, so, make yourself at home, & don't hesitate to have a good look around...I've certainly done my share of looking around, & have found alot of interesting things, & met some good people. Good to get a prompt reply, & from another curry-cook, at that . I had actually found a site, called Death By Curry (the idea being, to find a curry so hot, that it essentially causes one to overheat, resulting in death - bit of dark humor, there.) I had even submitted a couple recipes, & there are a good variety, both with meat, & vegetarian.
