One of my fave Latin phrases: Non illigitamus carborundum.
I'm feeling lots better today. Decent sleep does that for me. That and I bought a book last night.
Hopefully there won't be any crises today. Those always put me in a foul mood. I suppose I can always block the entrance to my cubicle if I need to.

The 'crisis' is still here, but I've decided since it's not my responsibility, I'm not going to worrry about it. Even if the senior manager thinks I should because he's trying to avoid admitting it's *his* responsibility.
It's a lovely day out today. Sun is shining. It's been raining off & on over the last 2 weeks, so that's a good thing. And it's supposed to be 70F today. I'm thinking about getting 'sick' later this afternoon.

aarrgghh the old "self accountability" clause eh...
sod em all...thats there standard fall back clause...amazing both yours & mine own little fuhrers seem to have read the same little red books aka:how to be a manager in the modern world.
think it reads somewhere along the lines of we are blameless & all subourdinates are at fault..,this would also be the book that shows them how not to traet there staff & how not to be good at "people management " (not e the political correctness there..i remembered)
anyway good idea,if you've got a valid email address i've a little ditty that might weel amuse you regarding managers...

It sounds like they *did* read the same books. Or maybe it's something that goes with the title.
So the ditty is too for h2g2? I suppose if it has to do with managers, it is by default.

I'm against unnecessary typing. I'll dig out an email address at home. I think I have a spare.
Things are okay. Work is really busy. I'm trying to finish updating the last few thousand records out of 25K+ by tonight. I have to rebuild a database tomorrow ()& this has to be done first.
It's windy out today & supposed to be cold later. As long as it warms up again, I don't mind so much.
Hope things are going well with you & yours.
