Great leg well done! Congratulations. I hope you enjoy your time on dry land. We've just put up link to Albatross project on front page.
Great stuff Nick.

"Good to see the firm face of John back on the front page.
Hopefully for him the dentist was there...
Is it not time to restore the help structure too? Still dead-links in the indexed Albatross pages."

If you can find those broken links and post them here or on to my Personal Space, that would be a great. There's only two of us on h2g2 at present and we need all the help we can get! Much appreciated.

How can I be 'gone' if we just had a conversation half an hour ago!? I'm leaving the BBC mid-Jan next year. Until then I'm very much not gone! After that time, I shall still be onsite and will still be contributing. Richard is away in Italy at the moment (on hoiday for two weeks) and in Russia for a month after that making a radio programme. He'll be back working on Save the Albatross when he has the chance when he gets to Russia.
The link you sent me in your previous post was not at all clear hence I haven't been able to do anything about 'dead' pages.
Over and out,
Sam.

How about < <./>F453?thread=299003</.> > this is where we collected the consistency bugs the last danda.
Regarding the recent major contributions are on the account of Richard we addressed him.

Thanks Sam and everyone - well we've had a very hectic couple of days here so far getting all the jobs we want to do organised, some clean clothes, and a few steaks and fresh fruit and veg.
Also managed to link up with Sam Petersen of Birdlife who is setting stuff PR here.
We're in the marina at the Royal Cape Yacht Club and today the wind was smoking through - glad we weren't out there.
I can use a PC at the YC to access the web so for a week or two I hope to be a bit more active on the site.
I've send a handful of pics and will send more every day - I've got lots of great Albatross pics from long afternoon watches!
Thanks for the support everyone
Nick
