Moby Dick is the title of a book about the hunting of a white whale called Moby Dick. See this smiley - yikeshttp://www.tomheroes.com/images/COMIC%20classics%20illustrated%20moby%20dick.jpg - the kind of whale you need to keep a distance from.

I saw your correction, yes. You're right, it's better. Though I liked the curve on the original reflecting the dolphins. I had another look round collective and saw where your images came from. Also saw your latest in the gallery smiley - smiley. Dancers - I took a photo of some scottish dancing, it's out of focus, all blurred, your picture reminds me of it.

Did you see the thread on Collective about the project? There's another volunteer, making two now.

I tried skiing once on a dry slope. Couldn't stop! I've never tried on snow. They keep telling us it's going to be really cold here, and then it's not. We could do with a really cold spell for the sake of the garden.

You've got the new pc up and running, smiley - cool. New toys to play with?

I received your cardinals, and have sent one collar dove through the ether. Hope he lands ok smiley - smiley. He's slightly clumsy in my opinion.

I still haven't worked out how to reduce photos down to a sensible size. Even that one which is cropped to about one sixth the original took a while to load up.

It is beautiful to look at though.

I'll just make do smiley - snowball with this smiley - snowball stuff smiley - snowball here. I don't think we've even got a frost tonight.

You just so lucky you! Mostly people do not appreciate what kind of a beautiful climate they have!
Just the good location on the way of the Gulf stream what makes the British Island so lucky with a mild climate!
And that stream just going up to the North-East not even far from here, but we are out of it that is for sure!

About the photos sending by E-mail: When I click send to E-mail my PC will ask: Do you want a reduced size or the original?
I always let the PC reduce it to small KB. Mostly the original size is too big.( for Rowan the big size is OK, but no good for anybody else!)

I don't know what is your software for E-mail? Is it in the Microsoft Windows? Or what else? You don't have a Mac?

I don't know your software, so I don't know what to tell, I never get involved in too big size of anything.
My new PC does have loads of new stuff, but now I am still using the same system, we did transfer everything from the Laptop. Though have lot of very much better operation with my new processor. Fast as lightening!
This PC was built in 2005 with new and much better parts in it.
Extremely enjoyable! The price: was not much, certainly much cheaper than the laptop.
I sent you many photos. Guess you got them. Now is lot of sunshine and melting with water all over.

Let's hit the sack! smiley - sleepy G'night!smiley - yawn Bbird

British weather's not too bad smiley - smiley, I could do with a bit more sun in summer mind. We have snowdrops coming through now. There's a place just a mile away that's usually carpeted with them. Might come home that way tomorrow - check they're still there smiley - smiley.

And at work there's a patch of purple Iris and a handful of orange Crocus.

I think my problem with photo sizes may be from not setting up Outlook Express, but I'm going to try the Yahoophotos you suggested and see if that works. I have Microsoft Windows but use web based email only.

For once I am not signing off to go smiley - zzzz but to go smiley - schooloffish swimming. I hope you are not swimming in meltwater. 24" of snow in that short a time smiley - yikes.

Yeah, I think maybe I do need to set outlook up. I don't really use it for email. Anyway, at least you saw the photo via yahoo. When you said you couldn't see anything else, it may be because when I set that album up I limited the access. I'll look into that when I get back from Spain.

The snowdrops are out - took a few photos of them.

The birds are ready for spring here, blackbirds are mock-fighting, sparrows getting uppity... and we had three buzzards circling over the village on Saturday in long slow circles. Beautiful to watch.

Hey smiley - smiley, I saw you online. As usual just as I'm off smiley - zzz.

I owe you email, and pictures! I was waiting til I'd got the last lot onto the pc. And again the weekend's gone without my getting to it. Tomorrow, hopefully.

I think there's one there, if it's as in focus as it looks on the camera, that I'd like to send in to Collective.

Hope all's well, and your cardinals are getting fat and happy smiley - smiley. Well, not fat, but healthily well fed.

Hi there! I went to see your Entry in h2g2 about the jigsaw.
Many words are new to me, but one thing I can tell now: the most we can go back into human history on Earth is about 35000 years in the Cave man's stuff.
You say something about a million years,-- that is not possible.
Unless my info is not right.
Couple of years ago was correct.

E-mailing is wonderful I like those people who are willing to commnicate through that!

I am concentrating on MONEY MAKING ACTIVITY with my PC. Takes a lot of research, tremendous amout of materials to read,- but it is worth it.
Before anything else: have to have a WEB SITE what is interesting for business purposes.
Wonder if you got my Flower Show E-mail bunch?

Hey BlueBird - I went, I found, I saw. But it's only the cache version that looks odd, if I click on the proper link found by google instead of the cache link, all looks good. Most people would use the proper link, wouldn't they, for a site like yours? I only use cache links for long web pages where I want to find something specific.

btw, re your last email, I understand about the landscapes, I should have thought of that and you're absolutely right.
til later smiley - smiley

You know Waz sometimes everything goes your way. But sometimes no matter what you do---- everything turns against you! Sometimes is
50-50.

No need to tell you I got into the events: everything AGAINST little me. Google responded and I found out a lot They have their own language: XML if you want something better things coming to you! Site map-- whatever. Forget it. I did not do GML I don't do XML!

My printer brock.

My friend is taken over by his very stupid wife. No communication.
Fine. Now let's turn things over!

I took the printer apart: fixed it! Was dirty! cleaned it, works like new.
I sent XXX dollars to my friend by Smail. He goes to Europe next week. I wrote the money is for the dogs there where he goes.

I went to find new help for my computer adventures. It's a new store. They loved the Site and they said also: Cachet you don't read. ( I do!)

My camera was also broken, I went to these guys with that problem to begin with. On the way there I got hit by a car! Not too bad, but had to call the police. It was that man's fault: he backed into my car on the side!
The police came: lot of paperwork to be done next week and run around to have the car fixed!

It is not the end of events, but I know that if you want: you can turn things over and the events will come in your way.
Now what do you say?
I hope there in your place everything is going in your way! Wish you well, thanks for writing at h2g2! smiley - cheerssmiley - ok
Blue bird smiley - smileysmiley - cheers
