hello there...
bedroom dj from cardiff, wales
you can find some of my mixes on most of the p2p websites out there. just search for 'groovypanda'. if i'm allowed a shameless plug (and it is, after all, "my space") then i especially recommend my series of downtempo mixes, "music for the chilled generation" ;)
current faves: (updated 05 April 2004)
1) everybody's gotta learn sometimes BECK
2) breathe me (ulrich schnauss remix) SIA
3) freddie's dead CURTIS MAYFIELD
4) everything is everything PHOENIX
5) all my life EVAN DANDO
6) la ritournelle SEBASTIEN TELLIER
7) jacqueline FRANZ FERDINAND
8) that's the way LED ZEPPELIN
9) far gone and out THE JESUS & MARY CHAIN
10) spooky DUSTY SPRINGFIELD
and these are some great books that i've read lately:
stupid white men MICHAEL MOORE
native tongue CARL HIAASEN
happiness WILL FERGUSON
snow crash NEAL STEPHENSON
hyperion DAN SIMMONS
excession IAIN M BANKS
the bridge IAIN BANKS
oh and the david holmes album was my album of the year. awesome.
and if you haven't checked out the tom middleton mix album "sounds of the cosmos" then please do so immediately. the former global communication man shows it's still possible in these days of cream & ministry faceless, commercial mix albums to create a mix album out of pure love of music. three 74 minute cds of quite superb music for about fifteen quid. go get it... :)
