Hi, Jab.
This is the thread where I wish you happy holidays and extend a hope that you and I will enjoy more bad poetry and philosophical discussions in the New year.
First, here is my gift to you, which consists of my compilation of selected Bad Poetry from 2008: http://www.bbc.co.uk/dna/h2g2/alabaster/A44850530
Discussions of truth and justice will keep us going long after the wrapping paper from the gift have been recycled into batik or origami or Global Warming.

Thanks, Paul, and Compliments of the Season to you too. I shan't try to match your matchless verse, but I must admit to having tried unsuccessfully to stand on my head the second time
It's been a joy to have you as a friend. I do love your verses so much so that, as I said earlier,
I believe they're well up to to thankless task of publication, or attempted-publication, in addition to being published here.
They're certainly fun to read.
All the best to you and those you love,
Jabs

It's easy to stand on your head,
And also to talk to the dead.
Bid sorrow goodbye
With a big juicy pie,
And then snuggle warmly in bed.
