That's just so annoying, and there's not much you can do. You can report him/her, or object to her postings, if it's blatant. If you have no opportunity to complain, try asking your ACE if anything can be done.

I'm completely baffled as to what happened on the poetry thread. I've been skipping chunks lately, but reading back over it is no more enlightening. Anyway, glad to see you back there, Jabs. Your poems I always read, and I especially liked the one about psychiatry.

I'm currently in a poetic slump, hence not joining in much - and I have nothing to say about cats or seagulls. But my inspiration's cyclic, so I'll contribute again eventually.

My reading of it is that we've been hit with an avalanche of comic verse, which is OK by me, not least because the thread was dying away before it happened. That shouldn't stop you adding more serious stuff, as I have tried to show with things like Psychiatry 33 and Milton. Part of the slump you're feeling might be trying to write seriously in such a comic atmosphere. Anyway, I hope you get out of it when you're ready. I miss your stuff quite badly.

I can write serious stuff, but that requires some time, and more mental preparation than I usually can muster
