Royal Yacht.

I see channel 5 have a documentary about the "secrets of the Royal Yacht" at 21.00 on Friday?
Looks like all the stuff I couldn't write about in my Smudger Snippets, will be there for all to see? Well, maybe, lets see what they come up in the first episode (of 2).
No matter what they show in the program, there is, and always will be, many memories in all us Ex Yottie crewmen, that will stay with us to the day we hand in our plimsoles, and climb up over the bar
Anyway, I hope some of you watch it, and let us know in here, what you thought about it, hope to read your posts in the future

PS. It's the Yotties Work Party" this week on board, where you will see a few Ex Crew members, doing their bit to keep the "old girl" up to its high standards.
They come from all over the world just to be there with their old mates, it's a fantastic experience!
I couldn't go this year, for health reasons?

What Makes You Angry.

I saw this title on another forum page of a site I use all the time, and it made interesting reading.
It's amazing just how much little things can really wind people up, little things, like this bloke who used to fall out with his wife all the time, because she squeezed the tooth paste from the top of the tube
There are a few things that make me angry, and have done over the years, but there is a recent one that is really annoying me.
I'm selling off a lot of the stuff that my late wife bought over the seven years she spent in bad, due to her illness.
On line shopping were her way of retail therapy, but she bought a lot of stuff that we never did use, so I'm selling them off bit by bit.
I've advertised them on Gum***e and one thing I've noticed over time, is the amount of time wasters, who say they are coming to buy, or view an item, then never show up!
So I was getting fed up with this, especially when I was spending the whole day at home waiting for them, when I could have been out and about, only for them not to show?
Now I give them a time frame to come, say between two and three o'clock, so I don't have to waste the whole day staying in. So I suppose this is the main thing that Makes Me Angry these daysSmudger.

Widows 10.

OK who has upgraded to Windows 10? I have but it cost me, which, was annoying for me, as for a couple of months after I had applied for the free upgrade, they kept sending me messages saying that my computer was capable of being upgraded.
But then I got a message saying that I needed a new Graphics card, so I went and got one, fitted it, then installed Windows10.
After it was installed, there was "no sound" so I ended up having to buy and install a new sound card, the total cost to me was £90?
So much for my Free upgrade, I hope you don't have the same hassle, mind you I'm glad I did it, as 10 is a lot faster, easier to use as well, and it's not yet finished, so it seems to update every time I switch it on.

I was looking for the ask h2g2 a question link, but I couldn't find it? So, who ever has nicked it, could you please return ASAP as I wanted to ask a question.
Now, where was I, you see I'm all confused already?
Ah! Yes, I remember now,.........I was out in the back garden, in between showers if rain, well it is summer here in Scotland, and the birds all singing away, all their own little voices tweaking away.
Then suddenly, they all stopped, exactly at the same time! How do they do that? There I was surrounded by birds in all directions, yet they all stopped together, how do they know when to stop?
Another thing, I've noticed that in the evening, just as it's starting to get dark! all the birds join in one large massive flock, which always turns in direction exactly at the same time!
How do they do that? It's not that they all follow one leading bird, as they all turn exactly together, how do they manage that?Smudger.

Techy Help Reauired.

Hello everyone, I'm having a few problems with my I/Pad and Phone.
First problem, I recently changed my password on my Hotmail account, while I was in Holland, as I never took my password book with me. (I only had my I/Pad and I/Phone with me) but after I did that, it wouldn't allow me to send any Eamils?
Then when I got home I changed it on the desk top and lap, thinking that was the problem, but it still won't allow me to Send any Emails?
(I can open and read the ones that are sent to me). Any ideas, please?
Now the I/Phone Problem........
I can't seem to delete any of the Apps that are on the first page of my I/Phone? I press an App, and they all start to shake, which is normal, but there is no X next to any of them, so I can't delete any of them?
Hope someone can help me?Smudger.
