Sorry I have not been on line - when one gets old it seems to happen very quickly and my neck gets s- sore leaning forward to look at the screen.

Have you seen the rescue of those 33 miners in Chile.? Gosh I would not likw ro do that work - I work I would be fearful the whole time.!!!


Well keep well dear friend. I remembered you had been to Turkey but had forgotten that you had also gone to Egypt. How about writing about that visit?

Hi Christiane, got it right this time I checked last night and they are at the very top of the list, so they are easy to find

We are waiting a call back back from the plumber who installed, our new heating system, as it doesn't appear to "clicking back on" once the temperature has fallen below the setting we put it to?

I am sure that we will get it going properly soon, but at least we can can still use it, and its making a vast difference for us

At Last we have got the hang of it We got the thermostat moved into the hall, which was easy to do as there are no wires, its all digital

It was the heat from the TV and the light that was keeping the thermostat too warm.

So pleased that the boiler has been fixed. What a dreadful thing to happen. You could jave beem"boiled alive" in your overheated flat.

Which is just as well, as I read in the paper today that the price of Gas is going up by 15%
