Just wanted to drop you a note to say how much I enjoy your articles.
For many years the Royal Navy has had a ship lay over in my area ( Tampa Bay, Florida ) for Christmas. I remember touring a Tribal Class Frigate, as I recall it was the Tartar, back in the mid 1970s.

Well thanks a lot for thre F S, in fact Hms Tartar was the siter ship to my old one, Hms Zulu! There 7 all together, all built for service in the Gulf.
Im glad you find the snippets enjoyable, as I enjoy writing them, they are memories from those long gone days.
