An aptly named "Introduction"
Hello visitors, I do feel the need to first establish my origins that brought me to this guide. I first picked up "The Guide" when I was about 13. Nine years ago, seems like much longer. Excersizing the privliges of my library card as soon as I was finished with one to get another. Quickly making my way through the fifth book in the trilogy, I was to turn to the misadventures of Dirk Gently. I quickly fell in love with the writings of Douglas Adams, although, rereading the book now, I realize that there is so much more to enjoy then there was by the mind of the 13 year old from the past. Just today, November 30, 2002, I was wandering through the bookstore and spotted "Salmon of Doubt". As I was reading the introduction, I saw this site. Which brings us to present day. Haveing said that, I'm sure you wanted to know.
