Intro
As far as things go I'm located at the Chemistry Dept. of the University of Bath, UK and a small company called Molecular Sensing.
I got my PhD mid-November 2002 and am still very happy about it. It took four years of poor pay and long hours, but the people I work with are a great bunch.
I've been a big fan of Douglas Adams and the Hitchhiker stuff for well over 10 years now, and attempted to write for h2g2 before, but lapsed badly.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
