Howdie
*tries to think of something intellegent to say, nothing new there*
nope darn forgot it...
Ooo while looking for insipiration on something to say, a conversation to start I spotted you made me a friend I shall have to return the compliment
(though of course it might not seem as complemnting from me
) Sadly however I can only think of really silly things to say, and not even silly in an amusing way, So I guess I'll shut up until that changes... it may be some time...

"a conversation to start I spotted you"
I'm sorry? Maybe it's my exhausted, hungry state, added to annoying flashing electric lights and a hellishly dull lecture this afternoon, but wha...?
But anyway. How are you at the moment? Recovered from the meet yet?

Ok so I'm mostly useless, it should have read;
"something to say or conversation to start, I spotted you..."
does that help ?
My sleep pattern hasn't recovered yet, but other than that; yeah I've recovered from the meet and I'm looking forward to the next one Happily I've time off at the moment, I was planning on visiting some friends, but they have been unable to get the time off and its not worth traveling to Keighley if I'm not going to be able to see much of them, my fault really I didn't give enough warning, such is life.
I have to ask what are the flashing lights other than annoying ?
Have you recovered from the meet too, back into the swing of composition ?
Hope all is well

Recovered? Well, possibly I would have done if I hadn't had another (small, but enjoyable) drinking session last night. Only bad thing about it- it's proved that my alcohol tolerance level has risen since I've come to Uni.
I've aquired a bottle of Laphroig. How I love that stuff.
Oh, and thankfully composition is over. Over, over, over. Now only to get the marks back in a few weeks...

I found the same while I was in uni, my alcohol tolerance was constantly getting higher, I think its something about the lifestyle Happily I've never had the hangover thing, though not for want of trying.
I don't believe I have ever tried Laphroig, but I do like whisky, well I can be a bit fussy, I like single malts rather than blends, or at least so far I have prefered them as I presume you would recomend it I shall have to keep an eye out

Laphroig definitely comes with my recommendation. Though I stick a couple of drops of water per shot. Only drops, and no ice. Well, that's how I take it, anyway.
I think I just drink about the same, but more constantly. I used to binge a little before I came, now I've settled down a bit. The odd bottle, shot, pint here and there, lots of too.
I tend to drink a lot of tea in pubs these days. Should be doing so this evening in fact. Read my paper, wait for a friend of mine to turn up, go to bridge. Don't you *dare* accuse me of being an old lady!

Yeah thats me there's a photo I think prefer of me linked from my space, probably because I'm not the sole focus of the picture
Strangly enough I recall the pink wings and T-shirt so I don't believe I need to confirm who I'm talking to
I've never tried a couple of drops of water, but I never have ice, and I recall with horror being asked to coke in a glass I poured for someone else, it was only black lable but still, poisoning good whisky with coke its plain wrong...
Well I had better get back to my cooking, doing dinner for the whole house (I share with three friends) and I don't want things to get burnt.
see you later

Howdie again, I go away for a few days and there is tons of backlog everywhere but here... did I scare you off, or has reality been catching up with you too ?
I did end up going to Keighley for the weekend, my friend managed to get some last minuet time off
I do not recomend travel by coach... the 9 hour journey (seven of which were actual travel the other 2 were waiting for connections at Birmingham & Leeds) which on the way turned into about 12 hours, and on the way back extended further to 14 hours. However, it was worth it to catch up with friends and the travel was in itself an experience

RL... just don't. Waste of good h2g2 time it is. And this weekend I'm off to Cambridge (again, yes, different people, complete coincidence. Wierd, huh!) so even less time!
Ah well, can't be helped. At least this time we're travelling by car, so hopefully it shouldn't be too bad. Providing the snow doesn't catch us.

Gravity is a myth; reality just sucks.
I would attribute that but I have no idea who said it first, though I know it wasn't me
Time is relative: time spent having fun happens much quicker than time spent not having fun, indeed it has been theorised that if at some point the universe contained nothing fun then that instant of time would extend to be of infinite duration. However, as no two people have ever fully agreed on an inclusive definition of fun, this is a purely hypothetical situation.
Appologies I'm in a silly frame of mind, the frame is a rather tarnished cheap brass one photo frame
for asiome strange reason I feel a need for or
's in large quantities... I think has to do with being in work, a reflex response of some description.
tries to picture someone being caught by snow, and realises this is as pointless as tring to picture an infinite dimension space, as snow has no hands
I think I should stop this before I make even less sense than I already am, which I think is about none at all, but I'm sure if i continue I shall start making a negative amount of sense no matter how odd that would actually be... see what I mean ?
Have fun in Cambridge, and happy travels
