Don't know if you're a backlog-skipper, but, if you are, when you post in the salon again, don't enter--you've got the 2 lightest-weight salonistas stuck to you right now

Thanks, Amy. I'll be judicious in what I post and when. As it is, I'm still trying to find time to re-integrate with the rest of the Salonistas whom I so love and miss. We're in the midst of building our home in mid-MO (finally) and--between work and the house--I'm finding it difficult to find time to jump back on the threads.
Anyway, thanks for the 'heads up.'

HN had handed min and I some dryer sheets, and I've been rubbing--I'm sure the static's been dissipated by now

Yes, yes, Amy, that I realize. You know how I'll write just about anything in order get a chuckle or a groan...
Believe it or not, I'm still weeding through a week's-worth of backlog. Just got past the part where Happy Nerd handed you the dryer sheets, and I'm preparing replies to several other postings to bring me up-to-date. Thanks for the prompt to jump back in with both feet.

Ah, no, your references to rubbing gave ME quite a chuckle, though--by inference--I recognized it must have had a connotation beyond my first, immediate thought. Shame on me. I must commend you on setting up the joke very well. Caught me up and so I ran with it. Shame on you.

I don't know which would be funnier--if lil loses her grip on the bucket (after all, full grown wolf at full speed...) or if she doesn't
Then again, might not be as funny when I'm not punchy from staying up too late researching chicken care... We're converting a not-a-greenhouse (was told it was originally a hot tub house, but it's half covered in corrugated fiberglss (not the green), so we'd been trying to use it as a greenhouse, then a shed was built next to the biggest light-admitting wall into a chicken coop. Of course, now that I've said that, I can't remember if you were around after we finally got to end our househunting and went into lots of debt last year So of course my first DIY (the shed's Tom's) is to house chickens, not people
