Well, blow me down!

I remember the eighth grade! Sounds like you are enjoying it more than I did, though!

I'm an American living in Northern Ireland.

So, what's it like in Montana? And please don't say "Mostly harmless!"

Later!

First thing first. I'm sorry that I didn't reply to your posting sooner. OK, next item of conversation.

Ya, I am enjoying eighth grade pretty well. The thing I really enjoyed was seventh grade, though. Man, what a great time. You see, because of some pretty strange ways our school system works in my little town, Seventh grade takes place in it's own little world. No one older than us, no one younger than us. Just us. We have a self contained political/popularity system, a never-ending circle of scandals and awkwardness, and no limit to how far our little bubble extends. I mean, in a school of 316, we're mostly in our own little world. Which is why I loved it. The first year we were off of grade school, we're into our own personalized universe. It's better than anything else I've ever experience. I don't know if it'd work elsewhere, but it definitely is great for those in my old seventh grade school.

Thanks for communicating, and I'm truly sorry about not replying sooner.
