What is it about Friday nights?

Edward the Bonobo - Gone.

Apart from the South African cabernet sauvignon, obviously.

A good question, and one which has been much on my mind of late . . . what were you referring to?

In my case, I was meaning 'Why do I always find myself online late on Friday nights when there's nothing on telly and my eyes are too fuzzy from smiley - redwine to read?' And I could see that you were online also and guessed it might be for a similar reason.

It's a damned bad time to try to understand Linux software!

I sympathise, though I have not dared broach Linux (yet?)

Frankly, I'd leave it unbroached. It's damned good stuff but with a steep learning curve. They have a lot to learn about usability...principally that explanations that make sense to smiley - geeks aren't necessarily comprehensible to mere mortals: 'I understand every single word of your explanation...just not in that particular combination.'

Still, after 5 months of pain I've made my first contribution to the Ubuntu Linux community with a guide on how to grab an internet radio stream and save it as a .mp3.
