Indeed we are and I am, in St Patrick's Cathedral Lady Chapel. A nice programme, Ockeghem, Tallis, Byrd, Naylor, and Britten's gorgeous Ode to St Cecilia.

Thank you! Sorry I didn't spot you there, but thanks for coming. My eyes were fixed on the radiant face of Mrs R in the back row. She said it was good too. The ring of the Amen at the end of the Tallis was rather glorious, I felt. Never went quite like that in rehearsal.

Gnomon - time to move on Posted Nov 28, 2005
There was a definite feeling of "we've made it" at that Amen. I thought the Tallis went the best of all the pieces - wonderfully together and in tune.
I was in the second last row, to your left of Mrs R.
Mrs G, Azara and my two daughters were all there as well. We rushed off at the end because of the children. It wasn't exactly the daughters' cup of tea, but we bribed them with a trip to Wagamama beforehand.
