Me myself and I
Something about me
Interests
My main interests are reading - I have a degree in Eng Lit - and watching UK Style. This usually leads to gardening and decorating which are both fun, and stop me thinking about anything too deep and meaningful. I get enough of that reading Anne of Ingleside.
The kind of books I enjoy range from crime (e.g. Agatha Christie, Dorthy L Sayers, Ngaio Marsh etc etc) to crossover children's/adult fiction - yes the ubiquitous HP, but also E.Nesbit, CS Lewis, Phillip Pullman, LM Mongomery (my heroine of all time), LM Alcott and all. TV programmes that have informed my consciousness include The A Team (Mr T is helluva fast, sucka, so I pitty the foo' who steals his chains!!), Neighbours, Quantum Leap, The High Life (cruelly, I fear, never to be repeated), and Sunset Beach (I was young, I was a student).
Work
I work in a government-related office coding the web pages of doom. Yes, it really is that awful. My lovely husband is a Software Designer so we are always on the lookout for new hobbies (with a flask of weak lemon drink) to make our lives worth living.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
