I haven't heard from Terri since she left her last message. I've been debating sending her a text- I know she has to pay for incoming messages and calls and hate to burden her with international rates... but I'll probably send her a short message if I haven't heard from her by week's end, at least.

I'm just so absolutely tired out i can't even read a newsper any more & computers who;seeem to be in much the same state wipe me ouut.

In the last 6 mo,ths i've handled 3 major 'as in litres) hemorrhages, trips to hospital; been burgled (including mu Fender & broke offf a relationship. Brain seems to be going too; i can't spelll properly now. I would happily sleep << 19 hrs of 24.

Today i got up 5am (peee!) then again 7am, managed to get electruicity going in kitchen (microwave has died though, ah welll), went to two diferent Police Stations either side of town to report thefts & broken windows; menacing etc,investigated a machine assisted bike $600, no way!)dragged a shopping trolley up the hill, discovered they've cut my celll phone off, went to Bank to report loss of stolen cards, same withn library, then to CAF, the place that issues the magic card that alllows you to get prescriptioin drugs. They can't understand why i have two passsports in different names. It's because when living in Kuwait with Iraqi invasion imminent, people "living in sin" would be firts to be hung from lampposts & worse.

Meanwhile i'm still trying to redecorate the house (some sort of therapy, unless i falll off the table!<biggrin)

And i "think" tomorrow is start of car race, so a 68 yr old biker may arrive to stay. Or it may be the Dublin man. Or it may be a blond Rasta. I'm realy past caring by this stage. They alll seeem to have the same first name!The place is filthy, i can't do it alll at once. If any are anally retentive & talll it would be useful.

Luckily, as welll as "you lot" i've summoned up some RL decent people.

By now, i'lll feeel happpier after the hospital yuk, when atleast i know what i've got & can start making future plans to deal with it. The Gas man decides if i can be conked oiut on the 2nd, they start shoving hose pipes down me on the 18th & Police say they will put 24 hr surveillance on my place while i'm away.

Anyone know anythinhing about teeeny tiny white Linux computers, compatible with wifi? Yes, clever clogs didn't take the name but you can pay for it cheaply over about the next 1000 years & i dont wish to play silly games or do anything more fancy than talk tol you lot, Google, MSN, email & hide it away! It does Skype also which would be useful...

Gaaaarrrgh; i'm going back to bed, the visitor will just have to putup with it or run away!

Val, i reckon it's the Vit B Complex that works best for me: i could eat 25 steaks a day & stilll not be able to metaboloise Vit B apparently.

Yoda, by the way, is fine, one died (as they do) but the otherr two were fine when i last looked. Alll this macho crap about "she willl eat them"...like hell, they are her babies, she reminds me when they need feeding!

PS: the chances of getting my lovely Fender basss back are recedeing daily & i had to sell the fendeer mandolin way back, so if anyone knows someone who's got a cheapo of either (yeah, i willl know the difference but...) could you let me know please...often, esp with mandy's; people buy & just can't work it out by eaer & are bettere off with a guitar (which i can't do at alll!!!!<rolleyes) but stilll have (it's El Cheapo but sounds ok if tuned properly & played by someone who knows what they are doing, i"d gladly swap)

Well; Abbi; just beeen invited for a (probably dirty) weekend in Bordeaux with an Irishman ( Val, it's feather, don't say a word to him!!!!!!!!!; you know who i mean) which has cheered me up plus i painted half a wall today.
Cheered me up considerably...this should happen in around two weeks, which gives my throat chance to recover (for chit chat, obviously<tongueincheek)

We had some bad flooding in my neighborhood and just a few blocks- less than 1/4 mile- north of us an area was evacuated, but nothing worse happened than some leakage around a few windows that slightly water-stained the sills (nothing terribly noticeable) and the blinds will need cleaning now.

I'll make a note that your cell phone has been shut off. That sucks but at least you're here.

Today has made up for a whole heap of the unplesant stuff of the last few weeks. Got 1st phone call from Feather around midday & i think we've been yakking away now for around 8 hours total; when my phone gave up (overuse? & we'd managed between us to work out codes etc..we sort of carried on (Fret not, he usually phones me, he's got one of these deals like yours PC; costs about a cent a minute)

Can't wait to meet up with him, the thought of "you lot" plus him caring about me willl get me through the nasty pipework (Lil, he had same as you age
s back & has been fine since)

I've only used my Ventolin once today & hardly coughed....though his knee's been playing up; oh dear, all this plus telepathic ailment transfer!

In the gaps i managed to paint most of the rest of the big wall, there is hope of tomorrow bringing some sort of order to the chaos?

Thank gooodness the floood damage wasn't too bad, i was worried; i doubt swimming is one of Hermans speciailities! No news from Bou; i guess i just write it off. Karma will win, now even getting to the stage of feeling rather sorry for him (but never letting him through this door again & Yoda goes to her cattery during debauchery time, just to be certain.)

The only yuk news is that, no matter what, this computer really is an old, sick Beast & refuses to let me even do basics like emails sometimes....i wrote you a long email yeterday PC& it just refused to send it.
Phone is dying tooo,but where there's a will there's a way!Anybody got any clue as to cost of Ang to Bawdo & where airport is in connection? Wandering the streets dressed in only red carnations may not be the best idea of meeeting up.....

Terri I received an email from you at my work address yesterday- was too busy to reply at work and today we were cleaning up residue from last week's flood stuff, but I promise I will respond at length tomorrow, my wooh!

Offf & on,i have to lie oin the floor wiggling the switch! probably the usual poor connexion but could be because i didn't pay last two months bills. Dunno, what the prblem with celll phone is; it's fairly new, filly charaged & not (yet!) been hurled at wallls, people or droppped. I think again it's that i haven'tn been able to pay the bill, but you would imagine they's send a warning letter first? Apparently i got off lightly, he has debts of at least 5X that to many people. If he'd offfered a token gesture "sorrry, can i just shove 10 or so at you this month pleease?" finne; we've all beeen in thesese situations, but to blatantly refuse to pay a cent & badmouth me throughout town & menace me is tooo much. One thing i will say in le vikings favour is he never asked for a penny & was respectful; if cold, towards me in public.

The computer has just reached the end of it's life span i reckon. But the result of alll this is i am pretty isolated, unless Feather somehow manages to get through or i can get onto hootoo, msn etc. I an seee i get emails but
can'tbusually open, reply to or delete them; most frustrating!

So i'm concentrating mainly on alll this repainting of thr house, iwant to leave it reasonable for next tenants. The actual effort tires e out, which is posssibly a;good thing & it will be *so* satisfying to say "well, actually, i did it all myself!"

But come or helll or high water; i'm having my weekend somewhere else; with someone ihaven't met yet, but who,seems a very, very lovely person

glad to see you're getting on with things, without bou bothering you too much. you have to draw a line under what he owes you (except for the fender, you have to do something about that if you believe that he has it)

when is your test then? you said 18th, or was that the check up and now you have the test/biopsy/scope thingie on the 2nd October? cant find the post on here? if so we will all be rootin for you. best get it over with and move on. these things are always much much worse when they are hanging over you waiting to be done.

i'll route out some more vit b complex. do u like the fizzy one or is it better in tab form? i know you're planning on moving but i take it you'll be at that address for a few weeks at least?

Managed to get hold of one of those little Linux Acer computer things, but it refuses to accect "z" or @; so it isn't any use until thats sorted, since i want it mainly for emails; with luck that may get sorted tomorrrow, my Social Worker arrives with new ID papers (yes, the swine took those also, without current ID, passsort et, you can't do much in France)

Basically, i want the debt back he owes me & hopefullly Fender, i've posted an offcial complaint about harassement, menace stufff.

To addd insult to injury, "they" are cutting off my benefits for 3 months while they investigate it alll; so i have to wait on that before i can start paying off my mates who (thanks be) have helped me out meanwhile And i've managed to drop every lamp in sight so am doing this by candle light; very romantic!

BUT great news is the "visitor" (a bit like Ric, Val; maybe?) is arrriving Monday, not next month, we are both skint, but we will work something out; main thing is we get to meet (only for 48 hours initially) but he's tried to phone/email every day, so i get the debauchery done before the op, yu never know it may be a miracle cure!

Aww; he sent me a birthday message yesterday, can't open it with this ol thing; but he also said "I suspect you are great!" which is such a nice thing to say!

Decison time: do i try & sort some of the paperwork out or find places to dump the crap from decorating Or just go to sleep ?

Those brown B complex tabs seem to be most effective i reckon. not openened the extra iron stuff until i've hzd the blood test 'cos i bleed so easily; it may do more harm than good?

I think i shalll haul the crap away; i managed to hoover atelier today, so there's a bit of space up there. A bit like you PC, living amongst soggy boxes is enough to bring anyone down!

Ah yes, happy birthday, my Wooh. I apologize for not saying so yesterday.

I'm still working on a reply to the email you sent me at work. It did come through.

I'll try to send tomorrow afternoon (busy morning ahead, sorry) because I want to ask you something.

My advice- sort the paperwork, love. Don't just go to sleep.

The sleep thing is major & i don't have much choice. I half-halfed & sorted "some" of paperwork & collapsed in a heap around 10PM (which for me is incredibly early. It's now 9am; Soc Wker due at 10; papers all over the bed & of course all i want to do is sleep! Can't curl up in the beanbag for a quickie 'cos they can seee me from outside, so do the "knock on door" trick.

I have to get alll this together, it's incredibly important i meet up with this guy & be in a reasonable state for the op. We may welll not be 1000% compatible (show me who is!) but the fact of RL person caring means everything. I just feeel like an inferior non-Durasell battery running down & this could put me back on track. If Bou had any clue what he's done to me, he's either entirely stupid, incredibly cruel or some sort of very pooor sod with major me

ntal health stufff he doesn't realise. To thieve from someone who personally trusted you; while they are possibly dying (yes, i have certificate to prove that); even if you've had rather a breakdown because of own family death stuff; is not a way of life; it's a means of losing any chance of "real" friendship & hope for a better future.

I just thank "whatever" that Yoda didn't get taken/escape etc & concentrate on finding a way to do the bordo trip "I gotta get outtta this place" even if for only 48 hours! For 6 months he's been promising to pay my what he owes me; or at least what he can afford, but refused to even give me 1.78 euro for the bottle of he had just scrounged, that would keep Yoda in food for a week!

Half hour snooze; she'lll probably be late anyway!

I think Bou *does* realize what he's done. I haven't had someone who purportedly care literally thieve from me, but have had a couple people who claimed to be friends scam money from me and it would hurt so much more if what was taken was of massive sentimental (and monetary) value. I think he knows exactly what he did, and is just a vile selfish person who will manipulate and screw people over just to get what he wants. Some people have a bizarre sense of entitlement like that.

ippee,managing to post o hootooat last though it will no doubt mysteriously disappear before it actually posts.

This Beast is a Linux Notebook & is tiny all instructions in French,Italian, Spanish & German.

Peter squeaks all those (he is in fact German,thogh has lived in Ireland most of his life) & a bit of a geek when he is in the mood & he can't make head nor tail of the thing either,so i have no chance!

Anyway, in a nutshell, he arrrives 26/27 Oct ie around a week stays here to help pack& paint the high bits (he's tall!)then off we trot to live in Tobercurry (yes, luckily we both adore curry & choc) &hopefully live happily ever after Editiing Ecological magazines & installing solar panels preventing the goat from eating the vegetable patch & the enormous dog from eating Yoda & me,if we can get me a passsport & her jabbed & into quarantine .

Hospital check up for me yesterday went fine, general opinion seems to be"if she's happpy she has the costitution of an ox & despite definite bits are wrong she willprobably outlive us all"

Hence me repainting this house at 6am etc. I may welll sleep in the back of P's van the whole way & arrive in Goatlandsqueaking frnglo-German which will confuse the locals even more!

Lord knows how we are going to fit the contents of this house plus us & possibly a howling cat into a van, but we willl no doubt find a way!

HE arrives SUN/mon, on top of all else is qualified electrician, so he hasjob of hauling boxes & sorting cables, poor soul!

Spent most of today dealing with immense French paperwork but seems i can enter Ireland somehow.

Now the big prob is Yoda, who can't, unlesss smuggled, so am hoping the Green Party can help rehome her.....this willl really hurt,, but pets &people do die & you have to get over it, so long as she s rehomed with sympathetic people, i'm pretty sure she willl cope. Much better than long quarantine stuff.

Once he's here, he has truck, so can help with transport & just being together is....can't explain.We are a good team at ealing with probs.
