Hi Yoda (or Terri, depending on which one of you sees this first)!
Do you know how to spell "phenomenon" properly? I don't think I do, it's nearly as difficult as saying it properly...
You left a message for Cyril, my cat, on my personal space in response to his journal entry, but he can't reply because
a) I only come on this site when I'm at work and he's at home plotting how to eat my (whose journal entry will be forthcoming) and
b) He hasn't worked out how to use a computer yet, thank god. How do you manage it with those paws? Surely the words would aslklk cdoimne oimnrt liker rthisd? Hmmm. Perhaps Terri puts one of those spike things on your head like Joey Deacon?
I'll pass the message on, though.
I was reading through a few of the conversations you'd been involved in like the noset sod that I am, and one was about a conversation in which a newbie had been really insulted by some people who posted some things in really bad taste which upset them. I couldn't be bothered to comb through every entry you'd written and find the conversation, but I really wanted to, to see just how bad the taste was. It's like when you see that "ACCIDENT SLOW" sign on the motorway and you think "Oh god, how awful, I hate to think about it" but when you drive past it, you really can't stop yourself looking at that little bit of bloody personmeat hanging out of the side of the bodybag. Bleaurgh. Or is it not like that at all?
Shalom.

It was pretty bad! The one who got yiked called the other one a (name of type of German who sees "shalom" as a good reason for gassing) followed by name applied to female genitalia beginning with "c".
Plus expressed the wish that she & all other Americans should have died on Sept 11th.
I'm sure he's a nice boy really & his mummy loves him to bits!
Anyway, it all seems to have died down now thank god, he even more or less apologised in the end.
Funnily enough I got onto your home page from the Rev. Gentle; who has had a run-in or two with the "yikesers" himself!
He seems a very strange bod indeed, what do you reckon?
(Mind you, we all are, but he seems somewhat more than most!)
Yoda is sleeping off a very traumatic day at the moment; so can't be here to converse "purrsonally" with Cyril, but he does seem to be a feline of class & will be added to her list of those worthy of attempting to communicate with on a more spiritual level.
For the moment she prefers not to divulge classified information regarding her typing skills, as she fears they may fall into the wrong hands
Terri.

Well yikesed, that's not very nice at all! Especially seeing as if al lAmericans had died, that would include Carmen Electra, and then I'd NEVER get to marry her.
Would you say "He got yiked" and "I yiked him", or
"He got yikesed" and "I yikesed him"? Hmmm, I'd hate to get it wrong and be one of those ittitating people who say the past tense of the verb "text" (as in text messaging) as "text".
"Oh yeah, she text me earlier". Or am I just being pedantic?
I haven't found anything anywhere near offensive enough to be yikesed yet, maybe I don't look hard enough, I am working as well at the same time I suppose. What side of the yikesing run-ins is Rev Gentle on? He seems fairly nice from what I remember, I'm desparately trying to find his Personal Space now to find out...

Sad to say, he's the one who's been yikesed (not on the "what's wrong with..." thread, but on the comments following an article about M.E (Myalgic Encephalitis) See convo on my page "Really" for more details.
Very hard to tell if the guy is genuine, bitter, sense of humour, likes stirring up s**t or what. Anyway, I've given him the benefit of the doubt & opened the door to communication if he wants it, now it's up to him!
I might not be so active over the next week or so, Xmas looms; plus a very special friend's birthday. I'm trying to get as many people as poss to say happy birthday to him at F19585?thread=226748&lates=1
Please spread the news!
Keep in touch!
PS: Have you seen the new winter smileys? Yoda's ing over the , thinks it looks very tasty!!!

Wicked winter s! I know how Yoda feels, I'm always ing over , they're lovely.
I said Happy Birthday to your mate, I even made a bit of cake.
Where do we stand with the "I yikesed him"/"I yiked him" debate?

Well, I've been referring to the whole business as the "Yikesit", if that's any help!
Not yet gone into my other convo's to see how the "Yikesit" itself is, I'll keep you posted.
When we 1st moved in here, there were a pair of Great s in the garden, but once Yoda appeared on the scene they disppeared strangely enough!
Terri.
