Me
Well what can I say about me? I'm 26 and live in Sheffield. I moved here almost 2 years ago due to work. Before that I spent over 6 years in Birmingham where I managed to get through a degree then a PhD. So that's Dr. BloodSucker to you!

And rather than ranting about how bad the British Transport system is having used it to see my better half every other weekend for the past year, I'm glad to say that my days of regularly using this poor excuse for a public service are over. My young man has recently found himself a job in Sheffield so we are now amazingly happy being together in the same city 
.
We met through motorsports. The British Touring Car Championship to be exact. As big fans of most kinds of motorsport we spend a fair amount of time going to races, watching Formula 1 
on TV or socialising with others we've met the same way.
What else? I'm a science fan in general, although I don't profess to know much about it. I enjoy Sci-fi books, and am trying to find time (and borrow the books from dear old daddy!) to reread the Space Odyssey and Rama books that I read a good few years ago now.
I used to do a lot of sports. Running mainly. Until I picked up a virus a few years ago that knocked me out completely, and I never really recovered. Shame. I'm sure I wouldn't have got too far, but am sure I could've made some regional team. As it is I have to make do with a couple of medals won for Kent and B'ham Uni in national team x-country events. Such is life - and I don't miss training 6 or 7 times a week! And at least now I'm more free to partake in a few glasses of 
or even better a nice glass of 
!!
