I could wind up in the nick. Judge refused to hear my Human Rights Act defence. I plan to appeal against that decision. I was forced to plead guilty cos he wouldn't wear that particular defence line. That can't be right. Doh!

no, didn't get the dogs in the end, couldn't face the prospect of mucking-out. but i'm sure there's potential for a new extreme sport in the idea though.

i've got an interview for uni on thursday. high time i got some kind of qualification to my name. at least a few years out in the real world has helped me find what direction i want to take.

Oh. What subject and what uni? I was thinking of moving to Wales, maybe Bangor, when the law lets go of me.

UWIC in cardiff. music & audio electronic systems bsc. i think i've got enough broken or breaking equipment to do the first two years' worth of courseworks and projects on.

Best of luck for Thursday. Do you still get benefits if it's a full-time course, or do you have to go for the dreaded loans? Better in Wales than here though, I think.

aye, i get to keep DLA regardless and i should be able to hang on to income support and housing benefit too. i'll also be eligible for a grant from the assembly and my LEA will pay my fees. i won't bother with a loan unless i really need one come year 2 or 3. they'll also be able to sort out dictaphones and scribes and all manner of other stuff after i've had my needs assesed.

the interview should be a breeze, what with my studio and live engineering experience - i've been gigging since before i left school and in and out of studio's for 5 years, and i built my own home studio almost a year ago. yep, i'll walk in (if you pardon the pun)


speaking of which, walking with the zimmer's coming on slowly, though i'm on a bit of a plateau at the moment.

Yo, Myce. Almost missed your message again. Hardly ever check personal messages. I'm not au fait with your particular condition. Sure didn't realise that you can't write conventionally. I presume you're doing you own keyboarding. That should be useful and accepted, surely. Good luck with the Zimmer. I had to use one recently. Fractured the old tibia doncha know. I'm down to one crutch now after 3 months.

Myce. Sorry if this seems intrusive, but I'd be interested to know if what you have is the result of trauma, birth or a progressive (hopefully not to agressive) condition. I do have some medical knowledge.

trauma? aye, one hell of a trauma. i bust my neck when i was 22.
