Welcome
I, 'Lanky', tutor in psychology and philosophy in Scotland. In the course of my work, I have produced pedagogic devices and book reviews which I will try to deliver to h2g2 as time permits. My special interests are in intelligence, personality, attitudes, and problems in the philosophy of mind. Though I am empirically oriented and still admire the late Hans Eysenck, I have in the past decade taken Freud, Popper and Plato especially seriously. Yes, I think the ideas of these giants can be reconciled, much as they themselves would have wanted to disagree. I hope that's a help -- but I'm writing it on my first day with h2g2 so please bear with me.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
