It's his subtle manipulation that scares me. He's VERY good, and I'd love for him to teach me some stuff, but I'd be always on the twitch, trying to double and triple guess what he's doing, I get really conscious and stubborn around people like him but I know I'd never stand a snowballs chance in hell against him smiley - smiley

It'd be ace!

grr

Bushy went to see him and said he spent the next two nights awake trying to figure out how he did it. I've never seen anyone like Derren Brown before, I think he'd terrify me if I met him in flesh. Learning stuff from him would be cool though.

I'm quite trusting, in general, unless my suspicions are aroused. I think my spider senses would be firing on all cylinders, I'd end up a nervous wreck! smiley - smiley

I have a friend who is an extremely accomplished card-trickster. He's forever doing tricks and never repeats in front of the same audience on the same night, he'll pretend to explain a trick to you and in 'revealing' he'll actually pull you in a new direction. He very occasionally gets me, but 99% of the time I can spot it. I watch his body language and have realised that there is no such thing as an unconscious or unnecessary move, I'd be the same around DB...

Again, would be interesting but scary!
