I have neither a credit or debit card. But I do have a Young Person's Rail Card, so a saver return with that should be lethal. She's in Bath at the moment. About 130 miles and £60 away. I have all of ten quid in my wallet and a washing and dryer to buy when I get more money in. So I think I'm gonna be trying to get to know her better from distance for the moment. She seems interested in having mooch around Brighton, I think having a washing machine and dryer and my making fresh start on the remaining decorating needs would make my place more welcoming.

I'm in a position where I've put off getting a new washer and dryer for more than a year, I was hoping to sort that last week but then my boiler went on the fritz... I'm gonna try and sort it next week. Then I'll be pursuing a budgeting loan to sort out further household needs. Given that she's moving soon and then disappearing France it seems wise to keep getting acquainted digitally 'til we both know where we're at with our money and homes.

Aye, but I stepped on my old electric heater's plug so I invested in a new oil filled heater, given the number of times my boiler has come down with a a fault, to keep me warm before someone could come out to fix the boiler and to keep warm in the future event of part falures. Also since it doesn't have a heating element exposed to dust it was worthwhile upgrade.
Just expensive.

They DO come out within 24hrs I take it? That being the law and all... (I looked it up a while ago... If you have no heating they MUST repair it or provide an alternative within 24hrs)

Hoom, it was 3 days last time.

Anyway, I can't say I much fancied going one night.
