My monitor has taken it upon itself to go retro - only instead of green text on a black background it's hues of green with black text. Isn't that wonderful?

It's magenta now...
No it isn't, it's just been green for so long that white looks pinkish to me...

Am I the only one that gets really annoyed when say "He's a Clownist!" when they mean 'He's an anti-clownist!' or 'He's a Harlequinist' regarding someone that hates clown or considers clowns to be inhierently inferior to harlequins?
Just me? I thought so...

Oh yeah. I watched Eternal Sunshine of a Spotless Mind yesterday. It's great. I hadn't seen it before, because I thought it would be far too triggery for me not being the best a dealing with breaking up with girls who are ever changing their hair colour.
Also watched Oldboy which won all those awards, it was also great. Derivative in a number of ways to other great 'new wave' asian cinema, but then the 'new wave' isn't as new as used to be, and it was excellently executed.
I also watched for those interested in the tedium of my life The Rules Of Atraction, which is brilliant film based on the Bret Easton Ellis novel which I still haven't read. He wrote American Psycho which is one of the funmniest novels I've ever read, shame that the film version of that seemed to suck all of the humour out of it... I did wonder if the director knew it was a black comedy not a horror.

Perhaps it's being influenced by some kind of sprout mind-meld.
