What's with the continual sniping Jack? and we can dispense with any of the stupid sorry nonsnse that I attempted before. That was a total waste of time.
I'm quite curious to know what's motivating your remarks about my stupidity. Latest to me on the Afghan thread.
>You made a well thought out and complex argument? Was that in a different thread?<
See apart from some people here who I have very little time for, you are the only one who persists with this tack. What gives?
I mean if I'm that thick how come I passed my 11plus, got 3 A levels, when that meant something, and got 2 degrees, one when a 2i in biology also meant something from Kings, London, and a 2i from Goldsmiths in Fine Art.. At both colleges I got the top firsts in my year for my research project and then my dissertation.
Thing is I don't mention these achievements much on h2g2. And I'm not the most middle class always in expressing myself, but I've a fondness for humour. And yes sometimes I get a bit passionate in my posts, but I get the strong feeling you hate that. But one can't argue with hard facts of my academic achievements.
But I'm quite curious to know what's behind your sniping, because you come across as at least averagely intelligent.
I've noticed your sniping at NTM as well. Not that I don't have my own issues with him myself.
But I am quite curious because you'd think that other people on h2g2 who are clearly highly intelligent would want nothing whatsoever to do with me if I'm so thick and stupid.
Care to give an honest explanation for your sniping..or maybe you just hate bipolars?

Your post contains a number of dodgy assumptions.
Including but not limited to:
1. That the posting on withdrawing troops from Afghanistan "now" is any way equatable with "remarks on your stupidity".
2. That your academic achievements are anything but a non sequitur.
3. That if you expressed yourself "in a middle class manner" it would have any effect on substance, or lack of it, being expressed.
4. That I give a damn about class.
5. That your "passion" is a vindication of your opinions...
6. ... or justification for your behaviour.
Leaving that aside.
>You made a well thought out and complex argument? Was that in a different thread?<
You regard that comment as "sniping".
Regardless of whether or not that is fair comment...
I was making the point that whilst you were bemoaning how HI hadn't engaged with the complex arguments of Zagreb, anhaga and yourself -- which is absurd, Zagreb's thoughtful observation was a response to and expansion of a point I made -- you had yet to make a comment worthy of calling an argument for your position, let alone a thoughtful or complex one.
>>maybe you just hate bipolars?
Y'know the fundamentals of humour a fairly universal across human cultures, sexes and races.
But, I don't find that funny. I don't find much or perhaps any of what you regard as "humour" funny.
There are right wingers, theists and leftists and fans of "woo", on this site, and we can disagree strongly in a thread and it will be left there. We can share jokes in other threads or even a pint in RL.

I regard many of your posts either directly aimed at me or indirectly, as snidy and sniping; you did the same to NTM/Ed..who if you remember seemed to think you were just being particularly unpleasant to him, until I pointed out that you were the same towards me, which you then proceeded to be. I've a few nasty experiences on this site of late. But I think your behaviour is probably the one that is most consistently ruining my experience of this site.
NTM isn't around and I'm taking a break from this place..so by all means look around for some others to inflict your devestating intellect and insightful analyses on.

Forgot to add, what really appealed to my sense of humour, was when you recently referred to me as an 'egocentric loon', which very well maybe, almost certainly be true, was when I visited your ps and read,
'I have been described as:
'Mysterious, caring with a wonderful voice'
'Quiet, clever, thoughtful, honest; ought to express himself more, since when he does it's always insightful, but often so unexpected, given his usual laconic manner, that it takes everyone a few moments to digest and react.'
'wonderfully dark'
'attractive, daft, intelligent, perverted, saturnine, tasteful.'
Which yes, may also very well be true. But to actually decide to put that on your ps, and accuse others of being egocentric loons Brilliant.
