Crossroads of Time...
Standing here
peacefull
waiting for sign
I rummage thru memories
and gardens of rhyme
Wisp the wind tickles my mind
and gold dust fairies hide the truth from those who sigh and those who cry and THOSE WHO LIE!!!...........
......and soft silence falls from the sky, opaque is the world of life to those who wish to harm in the name of desire, and the silly sun rises to the wide open eyes of the innocent and it empowers the fury of the just....
so goes the sights and sounds
rummaging through the stomping grounds
carousel makes it's round-a-rounds
and blindfolded morons bumbling abound
but wait...
there is inteligent life out there..
rising as the summer sun
bringing warmth and light
and hope....
hope and order
to a chaotic confusion
to the disillusioned
to the lost and the heart broken
the sad and occluded
and even the bumbling fumbling
blindfolded stupid
ignorant
and putrid
will the future shine
for all in the garden of life?
will the fountains run bountifull?
the sweet scent of spring overwhelm?
tears of joy in laughter rule the day
love and fellowship become the life fabric
and precious peace blanket the night
and wonder
the joyous wonder of it all become the staple
the milk and honey
the foundation
the way of life
to be taken for granted
as if that's the way it always was....
as if the tumult of all the ages past will be so far gone, sooo... long ago, that no one is realy sure it realy ever existed. Kind of a rumor that goes around but is probably more folk lore than fact... "I mean, how could anything ever have been so bad," they'll say "it's rediculouse to even pose such a thing...."
and that is where I leave it
right here on this stream of tarmac
right where our roads crossed
yours and mine
our crossroads of time
