Me - an introduction.
Hi
I enjoyed some of Douglas Adams writing and when salmon of Doubt was published I reserved a copy at the library. I know writers prefer you to actually buy their books but hard back books are expensive (a circumstance I deplore and intend to continue to deplore until such time as I actually write one, when I expect my opinion to change). Among an array of topics the name h2g2 was a recurring theme.
Today I wandered onto the site and was impressed. Now, for twenty some years, I have been maintaining that inside this reader was a writer trying to get out but never having the time or oppertunity to write somthing. (Stop me if any of this seems familiar).
That comfortable fiction is now dead. This site is in the nature of a "put up or shut up" challange to me and one I fully expect to fail.
However we will see in the fullness of time.
