I thought you might appreciate the heads up so you have plenty of time to hide or, alternatively, you could suggest a nice little Route 66 place for lunch or dinner and meet up with us . Hopefully most of the water will have gone by then.

I'm not sure right now exactly when we'll be near Tulsa, but my best guess is probably August 5th. I've been looking on Oklahoma's Route 66 website and there's just so much to do there. I'm really looking forward to this trip!

And if you're busy, I'm sure we'll be down that way again sometime. broe jr's determined to make it to Texas next time.

That's so cool! They've pushed back our closing date for our house, so I don't think we have anything planned that weekend. We could go to Metro Diner. It's right on Rt 66 and has been there forever. They have very good, classic diner food that will make your cringe.
