if its the one you signin on hotmail with, then i can contact you. with an invite later today at the cybercafe.

when you are on the messnger agin later today or when, you should by then get a message to allow me on the list your end, click ok, and it will acsess on both the lists for both my (name email) and one for the jimcracker7 one.

you are on both my messengers now, one jimcracker7 as a friend, but for some reasn on the name one, you arnt a (pawn shape) but a l_l shape lol, and as you as no instant messaging.

if you have the messenger to stay online, if your on, and i come on, you should see a box to the right.on the bottom toolbar. and same my end, if its online.

i usually signin to the jimcracker7 one, and leave it active while im on the pc at the cyber. jim

Jim I did leave a message on there yesterday but at the moment around here (mac users group) we all got a Safari update about 2 weeks ago now we all have trouble ,my Safari crashed 3 times yesterday , when our resident geek works it out we will get normal service back, also remember , I start checking my computer at about 8:30 am my time 12:30 am for you and periodically check throughout the day , by 6 pm that:s my dinner time 10am for you I am out of this room with my family eating dinner taking a bath 8:30 pm ( I am a man so First in the bath ) 9 pm movie time begins, by then I suspect you may have just eaten lunch .there is a big time gap so I don't see us being on messenger at the same time really but I will try to leave it open just in case

Also I am the cook in this house so according to what we eat how long it takes I prepare dinner in the kitchen listening to Terry Wogan, which also takes me away from this screen

im at the cyber for 12 noon till about 3pm or sometimes 4pm.

i,ll look at the pics when i get to the cyber.

the pics i have i cant add to the flickr. im part of sites and forums that are to do with fantasy cannibal lol.

i also have some 3d sites for such as the space stuff and artist work done in 3d. jim

My Safari has crashed 2 times already today but will try to go to messenger for a bit if you want to make that connection now

im at home on the box, i can only use the h2g2 and bbc from home,

i have no internet. thats why i go most days to the cybershop.

if you want i can send you a url for a website with the clips from films and things on the subject i mentioned, will give you an idea what its about lol.

what is safari, ive never heard of that before. jim

Safari is like firefox it's the browser I use,it's what my Mac opens up on , the latest version is not very stable at the moment that's why all Macs are having trouble at the moment .

I'm not into games not even cards at home just not interesting for me

wouldnt firefox be better, i have it on the pc at the cyber, but having windows xp, i dont use that often, mozilla is also on the pc.

when i watch a film or clip i use not only windownedia, i use realplayer, realplayer aternative, vlc, quicktime, and divx. some cilps i watch need older codex.

Jim For the last 3 days I have opened messenger and left messages for you and safari has crashed each time so ,today I am not going to messenger and see how long it stays up .

My geek friend also suggested going to Firefox which I have but I want to test this and see if it makes a difference, I will see if it helps all today , last week without opening messenger I didn't have this problem

i dont go to the cyber on wednesdays, its my day to sort things like local bills, and i need one or two days rest from going out.

the man i have got to know that as the cyber, i was asking him about mac i think you mean macintosh, and safari.

he said he only knew of one of his mates in another area that was using it, and he had the same problem.

firefox is the best, if the normal server you have wont do.

its more compatable to windows xp. or xp pro.

i also use the vlc for watching the films i download. it as more codex and quality than the window media.

to try it out, if you dont have it, put vlc in the google search,

near the top, i think its review or something. on the first page.

open and click windows, you want download france(the second one)

open dont save, follow the instructions till the mirror is done, the vlc will appear on the page as a long bar

just click it off, its done

it will be on the properties list

to change to windowmeadia, if you want as well, just change the properties on the film on left click to what you want to use.

as backup i also use the realplayer, and the alernative, and for the major ones divx.

if you want the link to the windows codex pack, i will send it from the pc at the cyber.

Hi Jim, My macintosh on Safari has been going for 14 hrs now and no crash ,It's when I go to messenger it crashes , I do have Firefox and I am set up to be able to go windows , I don't want to go to windows my choice , If I have more trouble I will go to Firefox , until the last update I was happy on Safari and will see how long it will keep going as it is a sort of experiment . I know all the Mac's are having trouble with the latest update my geek friend teaches computers science ? at uni over here using Mac's (good for spare parts etc ) so we will see

its now 2 pm here, if you can be on tomz at the same time, i should be able to coneect with you.if the safari doesnt crash.

as you say, from what i was hearing about when i had my own pc in the past. when the new systems came out, macs wouldnt even take the windows, something about the prosseser not big enough if i remember well.

i had a dell gx 150, pentium 3, 20gigs, then upto 80gigs, with 256 ram mb mem,with ex pro. unregistered lol. the desktop model.

but the drive went first, replaced and reformat, then the motherboard went kaput, then the finish the harddrive went, i gave up and called it a day at home.

i paid £30 for the 80gig h drive, and sold the pc, screen cam mouse, and k/board for £200, it cost me about £160, but with loss for a month on the broadband rental i broke even.

i used the free library pc, but they are to limited to much fiasco. so i found the cyber im at now, for an hr its,one pound, but i get the flat screen, its got 512 mem, headphones, canm, and the latest of anything i need ie msn messegner, with auto video call jim

Hi Jim 30 hrs now and still going I came here last night between movies just to check It was still going and posted I don't think I will check the same time tonight, like I said Jim I spend my evening watching movies or Taggart last night and Jack Frost the night before , I have 5 movie channels and a mystery one we all enjoy in the evenings , I usually am ing on here in my mornings + reading the Swindon adver, I even read my home village monthly magazine this week . afternoons I do the bits of work I need to do,I have 6 different screens open at the moment and will check them all now and again but I don't sit here long enough to have a conversation with anyone really.anyway no crash so far and still going
