Oh, it was brilliant!
We sat through a showing about the life of Douglas Adams, and then (If I remember correctly) M Simpson did a talk about him and was open to questions afterwards. (I asked one!)
After that, we had about 1/2 hour to wait, so we went for coffee and when we got back, we watched the very first episode of HHGG. Makes a lot of sense to me now watching that, why everything is as odd as it is on here
We went for a curry afterwards and then on for drinks....didn't drink too much coz I was on my tablets, but it was great!

One of the worst named motorbikes in history had to be the Norton Hi-Rider from the 70's (I think). I mean, for a big butch custom bike what a name! And it had a banana seat so every time you accelerate you slide up it away from the bars and every time you brake you slide forwards and crush your bits against the tank.
Needless to say it never sold that well

That was nearly as bad as when the next door neighbour bought a bike. It was a wetdream 250. She didn't want to ride it back so I had to.
I was wearing black skin tight jeans but unfortunately the guy who was selling the bike had highly polished the seat! I had the same thing about sliding up and down seat as I accelerated and slowed down

I have a mate who had a little run in a while ago (can't remember what with, was a while back)...but let's just say he left an impression on the petrol tank of his Suzuki

Something along the lines of...
"Oh deary me, I seem to have squashed something. What a silly billy!!"
....perhaps?
