Borrowing one of your sub-threads, please excuse the intrusion.

Having "exchanged" notes in a thread or two, I followed you "home" and saw your thread about medicals. It was probably rather improper, and almost certainly incorrect, of me to post without an invitation. My wife having been there, I felt the need to post with *hopefully good* comments.

I apologize for any intrusion and I (and milady who's been there) wish you well during your procedure, and a completely uneventful recovery.

PS: Just in case, (or just because,) keep LOTS of the , <stiffdrink) and on hand. Also a measure of in case the do-gooder's stop by.

I believe your original entry to the other thread indicated that Monday you were to test, prep and schedule for 'scope stuff. How did all of that work out for you?

Aaaah...sorry, seemed to have lost this thread! (or I wasn't looking hard enough for it!)

Well...all that was going on on Monday was a pre-operative assessment, to make sure I'm fit and heathy for a general anaethetic.

Was just questions checking to see if my weight was ok and whether or not I had any medical ailments they needed to know about.

I don't have the procedure til 23 July , so I'm up for another 3 months of pain before they investigate it.

They originally offered me 9th September but I kicked up a fuss and they changed it for me.

The procedure isn't a scope, it's key hole surgery. They will put a camera into my belly just below my belly button and fill my tummy up with air. The will then insert another instrument just below my bikini line and have a look around to see what may be causing the pain.

We shall see....we shall see......
