h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi...I may have a problem with getting to your wedding. An old friend of the family died recently and my dad has agreed to do the funeral. Unfortunatley it's the week before your wedding and my mom and dad will be traveling down to Brum for it, leaving me holding the baby so to speak. They get back on the friday, but because we didn't know when it was going to be, just that it was going to be around the time of your wedding i haven't booked anywhere to stay. I'm going to contact Birkenhead tourist information and see if they can find me somewhere, but I'm afraid I may not be able to make it.

VC can put you up if there's a problem with finding somewhere to stay...as long as you don't mind dogs, cats (lots of them), birds, fish, etc...

Just let me know if you're actually coming or not nearer the time. For now, I'll put everything on hold

I don't mind animals, I've lived with cats, dogs, birds and rats/gerbils

Due to the circumstances though, I'll leave it until after the funeral to make the arrangements for you, although, VC is happy to put you up. She's already told me that.
