I have realised I have no idea what you are doing at the mo. Are you working in the same place, if not, I should remove all email addresses for there. Are you taking a break from work, if so hows it going? Hows the health? Feel free to let me know by email if you would rather.

I'm very good today. Back is quite painful, but I'm just working through as normal.

I don't know what causes your back issues, but mine are all stress and tension. We got a scholl massager from Boots, which pounds the tension away. Its really good and has helped my back so much, my physiotherapist okayed it too. She said not to use it on the spine though, just the muscles. When Moonglum used it on my right buttock, my leg twitched, which was entertaining!

I bet that was fun!!!
According to the MRI results, there's nothing spinally wrong and looks like it's all to do with muscles, so most probably tension and stress causing it.
The doc did say that it was quite usual for muscles to create sciatica symptoms as far down as the knee, but no lower. I get the pain down into my ankles.
Once my back is better, I can go to physio, but until then I have to pop pills.

I got the pain down to my ankle as well. They said my pyramides muscle (in my bum) was rock hard with tension and the sciatica nerve wraps around this muscle, which explained a lot. We must compare notes, it seems we have the same symptoms and probably for the same reasons.
