I haven't disappeared, I'm just using my other ID most of the time i'm on hootoo. If you want to take on the Magna Carta entry, you are more than welcome to. It'll stand a better chance of getting finished before it hits 1000 years since it was made. 
Let me know if you want me to tell you the bits I've dredged up so far, they should give you a starting point to research from.

Bugger, that means I'll have to pull a finger out and get some work done on it then. 
If you want something to write about, how about doing a piece on the English Bill of Rights (1689)?
