I'm going home very shortly so if I don't reply to any messages, it's because I am not here. We had a flood at home just over a year ago and the telephone wire got damaged so we had to replace it with the one on the computer and never got round to replacing it.

If I hear from you in the next couple of minutes, I will see it, if not have a very good weekend (if you can't be good be carefull and all that) and I will speak to you on Monday.

I have to say though, I did miss our conversations over the weekend!!

I have a horrible week-end. I put my motorbike away for the winter and would you know it - it rained whilst taking it down to be put away.

It piddled down yesterday so I was stuck in the house all on my own whilst my fella was at work all day.

God I hate the rain.

This is our second "Autumn Storm" The weather is really bad. Very heavy rain and very slow moving. Potential flooding on its way.

no flooding here, but had stormy weather with some heavey light and thunder.

I live on higher point so all water runs in a channel next to my house.

Last year we went to York for a long weekend. That weekend we had torrential rain. York was put on flood alert. It was actually quite exciting!!!

We went down to the main river (the river Ouse) to the flood gate. It was up. There was no sign of any water on this side of the gate and wondered whether just because it says it's a water barrier usually some water does get through.

It was about 7 feet high. We climbed it only to find that the water was only inches from going over the top!!!

All was OK though. Only the usual places got flooded. We didn't.

one time I coming from Stone Henge to Ringwood and started to rain so hard that busdriver could not see thru his window, but he kept driving realy fast. we could see out of window and saw waves of water when thru a giantic puddle and nearly flooding of a pub and few houses, but when arived in Ringwood the rain did not fall there. very strange!

Typical british weather I suppose!!

last winter in the Netherland I had snow,storm, sun, and hail in one day. and this summer we had sun and thunderstorm in one day.

the weather was so mixed this year that I going crazy.
