Thanks - so far, all but the best man's suit has gone to plan (see above!).
Hope planning your own day is going well too - am thinking of writing a guide entry on planning weddings when I get back off honeymoon and can look back with a reasonable amount of detachment . I haven't written a guide entry proper for *ages*.
Congrats!

There are a couple of planning ones already, and I had one on the front page on choosing a wedding dress a couple of weeks ago. Takes over your life doesn't it?!
My planning is going well (I think, probably just means I have forgotten something important) so far, 9 weeks three days to go! Kind of want to get it over and done with now, am jealous that yours is so soon!
I guess you have reached the bit now where all the hard work is done and you can relax and enjoy the build up
Are you working up to the day or are you off soon?
k
Congrats!

Tomorrow's my last day at work , and then we have 2 weeks off for our honeymoon. Most people know I'm getting married, and they've been tolerating me being scatterbrained for the past few weeks - just too much to try and remember all at once . No-one seems to be too annoyed, though. Hope you're not finding you're scatterbrained yet!
9 weeks and 3 days will go a lot faster than you think - even if sometimes you'll sit there wishing it was sooner! We've planned ours in 4 months, but it really feels like it's gone quickly.
I'm definitely beginning to get quite excited and I'm looking forward to the day now. One of our friends commented last weekend that we were the most relaxed husband and wife-to-be that she'd ever seen
Congrats!

I'm sure it will fly by, I'm just fed up with having to organise a wedding rather than *have* one
I'm amazed you got it all done in four months, well done I've been engaged since february last year so most of the planning has been well spread out - but still seems to be taking up all my spare time
Was scatterbrained before...
Congrats!

We're having a very simple wedding compared with a lot of people - things like we're only having one reception and the food's a buffet, etc. Plus we're both engineers in control of various complex systems and projects, so a wedding was relatively easy compared to our day jobs as we didn't have any management breathing down our necks, asking us silly questions or giving us stupid tasks . Plus our friends have been great and helped us loads.

Good luck with your last bit, all the effort will be worth it on the day
