Hey there, you contributed a note to PR when the Entry about Goulburn was first there saying you might have a picture of the Big Merino .

Any chance you've still got it, or found it?

I've taken the Entry and brushed it up here A20074934 , and now it's been chosen for inclusion in the EG It would be great to have a pic of 'Rambo' on the Entry. Any chance you might be able to send one in? Send it either to me (my email is on my Personal Space), and as I'm an official h2g2 Photographer I can get it added to the Entry You'd be credited as Photographer on the Entry of course

Unfortunately, I can't find it . I was *convinced* I'd taken a picture of it, as it's the sort of thing I would have done. I can't even find the negatives to prove either way.

I'm really sorry, as it would have been perfect for the entry!
Congratulations on getting it into the Guide .

I do have a random picture of the town of Goulburn from the top of a nearby hill, though. It makes it look quite pretty, apart from the prison!

Possibly, but I don't know what the quality will be like - they're currently 6" x 4" prints, and we haven't got a scanner, but one of our friends has one so I'll ask when I see them tonight.

Failing that, I'll take a picture of it with my spangly digital camera and try that .

What did we do before all this technology?

Something to do with a pencil...??? Writing? Yeah that was it, and drawing....I seem to recall them.

No rush, don't worry if it turns out bad, just a whim after all

Decided to try the digital camera before the scanner, as ours has a 9M resolution .

I've taken a few shots of the photos at full resolution in case you wanted to zoom in etc. If you can use them, cool, but if not, no worries . They're not bad, actually!

I'll email them to you shortly, and will try not to crash either my email or yours .

Right, I cropped the fourth picture (because it was the brightest and sunniest ) and sent it off to the Sub-editor. Hopefully she'll manage to get it added to the Entry.

Just had a read through the entry again, and I spotted a typo - there's a Goal where there should be a Gaol.

oh poop. Nothing we can do now until it goes into the EG. I'll keep an eye on it, once it goes to the Front Page I'll let the Curators know, and one of them can fix it up
