I`d recommend saving for a house first, because you can`t live in a car forever.

That's true....plus a car loses money quickly. My ex bought a house last year, and it's increased in value by 25% in 18 months. The trouble is, by the time I've saved enough to cover deposit, moving etc I probably won't be able to afford a house!

not good at all!
The UK property market, particularly in areas south of Birmingham, has seen silly rises in house prices, so much so that first time buyers and people with average incomes (around £20,000 a year) are priced out of getting a house unless they've managed to save huge deposits. But renting is getting just as expensive as buying.
