My stop in the Universe of the Web
My registration to this site was inspired by a posting under North America -> Canada -> Ontario -> London Ontario. In a post in this section, it is stated that "I've never heard of "Washington" Ontario."
It struck me - who has? There is indeed such a place. If on the 401, simply exit at what was formerly known as Highway 97 (Just west of Kitchener, Ontario). Follow this highway west, and you will eventually go through Washington, Ontario. Now, be sure to observe the posted reduction to the speed limit as you travel through here. I advise this not as I think the local law enforcement officials are laying in wait for speeders, but rather if you don't, you will blink and miss Washington all together (If you see a sign advising you've arrived in Plattsville, stop, turn around and try again (set the cruise control this time, and pay attention!))
Having driven through there several times, I must admit however, I have absolutely no idea what really constitutes Washington. 4 houses and a garage I think. Maybe one of the houses is even white.
