h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Hi! I'm one of Owl's incredibly annoying thundercats I also am the Thundercat greeter-hence the need for me to greet you (which I would enjoy doing anyhow)!
I wish to congratualte you on your page..it is quite cool! I took me forever to figure out GuideML and especially the drop downs..I had to ask a guru about that (that would be Happy Dude-my favorite and only guru..well there is MaW but oh well..)
Anyhow..how are you getting along here in H2G2? wonderful story there..I just saw this site on the back of an Adams' book..
So..I greet you and eventually I'll get around to figuring out all the thundercat links and stuff for you (they aren't really that important) but we've been in a few wars and lost and regained our commander (who will return the 19th of October from vacation) and lost our second in command perhaps as well. No one knows...
Not to ramble on now. I will shut up..welcome and greetings and keep up the good work.

Anyway, thanks for the feedback on my page (no one has really said anything before now). Up until I joined here, I was under the mistaken assumption (apparently) that I was somewhat funny (maybe I'm just funny looking). It's hard to tell the difference these days.

Ahh well, back to the matter at hand who is our second-in-command and where did we loose him? Of course, if we knew that, he might not be lost.

You are definately a humorous person..beyond all shadow of a doubt humorous that is. Don't think otherwise for a second. Those that tell you otherwise are just dull people with no zest (not the lime or lemon kind) and are absolutely infuriated when anyone actually can make others laugh. I think, anyway..
aww..Luke/Robbie/fred/graham/countless other names was and perhaps still is our second in command. We'll have to discuss with owly on that one. He sorta got owl in a bit o trouble with the hootoo mods..
I haven't seen him for awhile, but then again he has been banned (which usually wouldn't stop him..and didn't-hence the trouble.)

I noticed you said you used this place for homework avoidance. I don't remember if I read this one on your page or not, but do you belong to the Procrastinator's Club too? I wanted to join sometime in the future, but I'm trying to join only one club a day for now.

I was just wondering Luke/Robbie/Fred/Graham/Countless is all one person? No wonder Owl was DR demon when I first met him. He told me he was a newbie too. We had a lot of cheesecake and tea that day. Then about a week later he tells me he's Owlatron and would I be one of his thundercats...hehe. The rest as they say is history.

By the way, have you written anything for the guide or post? If so, tell me how to get there so I can check it out.

Yeppers...actually got a reply back already (posted it a month before that though..) IT was quite nice. So what clubs do you belong to now? I have an essay due today, but I'm taking a two day extension so I'll do it Wednesday night and Thursday in school..that is how much I procrastinate!
He wasn't very new at the time..he's been with hootoo for a bit. I knew him since his first day or two..hmm..Yeps!
No I haven't written anything serious..if you look at the bottom of my space I have a few guide entries, but all for clubs and myself really..nothing REAL! have you? I can give you the post address if you want it though..( I suggest you read MaW's Future Prefect series becuz it's fab..)

So far the only things I've joined is the Thundercats and The Dog House. I have some applications pending though, if the people that run those get around to them in the near future (doesn't hurt to hope does it?), I'll put those links up too. I'm thinking I might join the lurkers too, as I am prone to lurk in dark places and never really post that many messages.

I haven't written anything, but I am interested in h2g2 fiction more than the actual guide. I used to write quite a bit many, many moons ago when I was still a young chick, instead of this old chicken you see before you.

And thanks for the info, I will definately look up MaW entry and check out the stuff you posted too. By the way, I really liked the story in your intro, very cool.

Sweet..'tis good to be in the community! Lurkers have an awesome thing, but I think that I couldn't actually be counted as one I have been in the stats quite a lot..

Do! It's great..my stuff isn't all that good..not much story bits..

Sorry Quille, but as soon as you told me about MaW's Future Prefect series, I over to go check it out. I only read the first seven and can't wait to til next time to read the others. Thanks for telling me about it.
