You say you work full time in heavy industry ... does this heavy industry have anything to do with shifting pies?

If you ever want to talk to a Researcher, just click on their name. That will take you to their Personal Space, and you can leave them a message there (like I'm doing now!) by clicking on the 'Discuss this Entry' button.

Hi there and thanks for the greeting.

I've been flitting around the site for a week or two now and wondered if there was an easy way of finding an expert on a particular subject.

Other than that, it seems to bee a real good site. The thing that appeals the most is the diversity of the entries........

I supppose to find an expert on a particular subject you could either find the Researcher that wrote an Entry on the subject you're interested in, or you could post a question to "Ask the h2g2 Community" at F19585?thread="smiley - smiley" title="smiley" class="smiley" src="http://www.h2g2.com/h2g2/skins/Alabaster/images/Smilies/f_smiley.gif"/>
