Your Geologic Time entry...

... is about to be sub edited by me. I've just had a quick read through and it looks pretty much complete, so I don't envisage performing major surgery on it.

Anyway, I'll keep you posted. Ideally, I'll be looking at getting any tampering finished by the beginning of next week, but I'll let you know when I'm finished.

Cheers,

OK, I'm pretty much done. I've changed very little: the odd word here and there. There is only one query I have: I don't understand the first sentence of the conclusion, especially the 'horizon measurement' bit. Can you clarify? Or have I missed the point of something?

Other than that, an easy entry for me to edit, as there was not a great deal for me to do. It's here: A882209

The horizon resolution is the smallest increment of geologic time we can measure given the stratigraphy. So, for example, if I have a series of strata or layers, the thinnest one deposited over say 500,000 years, then that's the smallest increment we can refer to in the sequence. I can't distinguish between events separated by less than this duration.

Hope that clarifies it for you and thanks for your help.
