I've got plans for some more but no energy to write them at the moment for some reason or another
getting up and sitting down occasionally come with a sound effect at the moment, although I've been told I'm carrying quite "neatly" whatever that means.
Consultant tells me that it is very unlikely that bump won't be large.... thats just what every expectant mother wants to hear when the due date is 8 weeks away
8 weeks feels like both a very long time and no time at all, I'm not quite sure what to make of it
I had an epic session of cake baking yesterday
all from scratch with no kits (they are cheating really...)
I managed to bake
1 carrot cake (never tried the recipe before and it looked very odd before it baked...)
1 Chocolate fudge cake (weird... but yummy)
1 rich dark chocolate cake (old recipe I've done a couple of times and a firm favorite)
I also prepared to make a sort of digestive flapjack thinggy... it's hard to describe other than that but it didn't get made in the end
the carrot cake went down very quickly and after about an hour there was none left, the fudge cake wasn't precut so it took longer to vanish but I didn't come home with any
as for the rich chocolate cake, well I kept that at home so we could have some cake ourselves
stayed home today because he had a horrid cold *green* but it seems mostly gone today... typical I guess. he has some new Wellington boots so is very eager to get out and find some puddles, the local zoo is half price at the moment to locals so I might take him there weather permitting.
now I'm off to work out what we can eat for dinner... well what we can eat that isn't chocolate cake...
too much of a good thing isn't good for you

Lovely - thanks. Do you think I can use milk chocolate instead of dark chocolate?

Well, I've just baked the cake. I'll do the icing in the morning and cut it into little cubes and take it to work. The girls are going to love it!
