Dr Anthea - ah who needs to learn things... just google it! Started conversation Jan 22, 2007
I'll admit I am not a morning person,
I am never first out of bed in our house
and winter just makes it worse,
but like most students at this time of year
we've had a lot of work that has needed to be handed in
and having finally given the last few bits to the tutors
I have been feeling utterly exhausted
somehow....
I managed to sleep for a total of around 18 hours yesterday
and woke up feeling rather confused due to the dark
but I find I just haven't been able to get up in the morning lately
I wake up go off to the loo
and then make a hasty retreat back into bed just as I start feeling really ill
this of course has my good husband feeling a little jittery
and me back counting sheep in a land of fluffy clouds
the thing is i never manage to get just enough sleep so that i feel well rested, its eather too little and I feel rotten
or too much and I feel exhausted from sleeping
now some people would try to politely suggest that I was just being lazy but I genuinely can't stay awake and feel really dizzy if I try,
but I shan't complain because I would hate to be struck by a bout of insomnia it just seems like I end up with the opposite instead.
well I better get on with things,
because theres no rest for the wicked
unless its me probably
give it about five minutes and I'll be under the influence of those darn sheep yet again knowing my luck
*sigh*
and last time I asked a doctor, I got told it was stress....

Is it finals week for you folks?
Hmm. I wouldn't necessarily agree with the subject line, you and Capt'n Kham are two of the sharper pins I know.

I don't know about that Thorn, after all she was silly enough to marry Kham
Hey Anth don't worry about it I'm like that...except at night, I can stay awake at night easily.

And what's more I'm not either Mr. TB. I would like to show you folks the new one-panel cartoon I made this morning. It's a tiny bit dark and appearance wise was quaintly done using MS-Paint. Maybe it will help cheer Doc Anthea a little.
I know I always appreciate a little sarcasm or biting tongue wit humor that are only slightly caustic - in the morning. Yeah, I know it would have been more grammatically correct to have it be "is only slightly caustic" if you put it in context of the beginning part of the sentence but I put it together out of order and want to leave the second half as is.
Right now I've gotta go offline for a bit so my father can send a fax but I wanted to ask you about what doing web radio is like or some photography stuff since I got a new digital camera and am looking for a few pointers. Maybe after he sends the fax I can ask you and Anthea about how y'all are and a little to what you all 've been doing. Y'know, summat,- to make a bit of conversation likes, yeah?

<-In my house the mugs of tea are about the size of beer stein. Believe it or not. It's true.

Anthea dont worry, I'm having the same problem. Its either a bug going round, or that time of year.
Its why I plan on taking a week off at the end of the shooting season just to get my head sorted right again.

I'd like to point out that as a full time student it is normal to be eating your breakfast when Countdown comes on, and spend more time watching BBC learning zone (that's 2am-5am boys and girls!) than going to lectures (they're in the daytime apparently).
So don't worry, just enjoy it. Sooner or later you'll have to get a j*b....

Hey EC,
I don't remember if you ever told me about how big GIMP was.
Those files were scary.
I now *officially* hate open source.
