i cant get into the internet because the modem is set for one provider and a bt line which i dont have
waiting on phone call to see what they are going to do

Is the internet up and running - or stumbling - yet Jinty? My monolith of a thing is so slow lately I have threatened to type "Hurry up or I'll set a hammer on you" into the search bar!
Was good to you then? He spoiled the kids (and me) rotten -
I have enough gloves, scarves, socks and "warm" stuff to open my own shop now. And I got 2 T Pratchett books - the new one from son no2, and a hard back of The Unadulterated Cat, so I've been busy reading up until today.
We've had a week of rich food, too many chocolates (Yes! There is a stage in life I've discovered when another chocolate is a chocolate too many) so it'll be nice to get back to normality... when I discover what "normal" is!
Anything planned for New Year?

no luck with internet yet
but hoping soon
i'm off to harrogate tomorrow for 4 days with two friends and hoping to meet jim the linksman on wed while i'm there we talk on the phone everyday but we have never met and this is the only chance we will have
i hope you have a nice time and hope 2004 will be good for you and your family
