Corks are tricksy things! They're on their way out - short supply and all that logistical stuff!

I regret to say I'm sad enough to save mine... not quite sure why, but I've got this theory they may possibly be of interest to future generations... or failing that, I can knit myself a lifejacket with them!
This is does solve the problem of getting te welded one out of the cassis bottle.
(I suppose when I DO manage, I shall have to finish it off due to oxidisation or something equally technical.... ho hum... it's a hard life, innit!)

Morning S'hhh, Morning fellow homosapiens Creachy,
My word, we do live and learn, don't we? Mind you, I was at Howletts in Canterbury (wild life park,)a few weeks back, and I seem to remember something about troglodytes and monkies.. I didn't take it in
much, as I was too busy hopping from foot to foot saying "Oooh look! Elephants" (or "Tigers").

yes, the species is called pan troglodyte i do believe. troglodyte is greek for cave dwelling so i assume they live on rocky exposures
those sites are fascinating. so humans still lived in caves in the 60's
