I don't really know anything about the Roman navy, I'm afraid. I'd be happy to cast a general reviewing eye over it though, if you like.
By the way, Bob, I'm very glad you're writing all these entries on the Romans. When I wrote my Romans entries a few years back there was barely anything on them in the guide - now with our contributions there's a fair bit!
